During the day we troll trout, arctic char and grayling. In addition, there is the possibility of casting fishing on the rocks, typically catching grayling, whitefish and trout. Salmon fishing in Norway

Salmon Fishing on Neiden River

Neiden River is one of Norway's best known Salmon fishing rivers. Also sea trout, trophy sized graylings and pikes are popular. The biggest salmon can weigh over 20kg. The best time to catch these monsters is in the beginning of June, but it is a challenge because of the cold water temperature and high water level. All throughout the summer months there is a chance to catch salmon.

All the fishing will be guided and occur on the Norwegian side of the river. There’s approximately a 1km long zone in the river that is only for fly fishing. Other parts you can also fish by casting. You can use our highq uality fishing gear or take along your own which we will disinfect to avoid the spread of salmon parasite.

Your guide will either meet you in Neiden Fjellstue or optionally pick you up from Saariselkä, Ivalo or Kirkenes. Accommodation is in lodges by the riverside.
